The “N” Family {Atlanta, Family Photographer}

I think this weekend was officially the start of winter in Atlanta.  It was brrrrr…cold…which I actually love.  We lucked out as it warmed up some in the afternoon but we didn’t let a little cold stop us.  We had a great time playing around in the wagon, throwing leaves and playing “Pooh Sticks” in the river.  Such sweet girls.   Hope you enjoy your sneak!

Holiday Deadline is December 9th

Wow….the mad rush of holiday pictures is nearly over and it is almost time for me to sit back in front of the tree and relax with my family.  Ridge is desperate for Mommy to dance with him during Charlie Brown Christmas and watch the lights twinkle on the tree.  Colton just wants to cuddle and gaze at the stockings. With that being said all orders must be in by December 9th with payment arriving by the 12th if you would like them before January.

The “L” Family {Atlanta, Family Photographer}

The “L” family are some of my favorite people in the world.  I feel almost like an Aunt as I watch these two kids grow up.  Our older kids are very close in age and we have actually betrothed them.  Shhhhh…. just don’t tell them that.   The goal of today was a family shot for Christmas cards and I think we have a whole lot to select from and more.  Enjoy!

Look at the excitement for Christmas pictures!

Gray {Atlanta, Children Photographer}

I was so excited to see Gray again this year.  Last year I could barely get him to crack a smile …even when we saw the train, his favorite thing, rush by.  But this year we have lots and lots of smiles.  You wouldn’t be able to tell by the pictures but I don’t think Gray stopped moving for 1 second.  He was on the go moving a mile a minute.  We played cars, chase and ball and I think it totally worked as we have some adorable pictures.

Ford {Atlanta Child Photographer}

I love original names!  And Ford fits the bill.  He was a 7-months old on the move …and look at those eyes. They are such a pure, glowing blue. He is going to be a heart breaker.

I can’t believe we were able to get the main bridge in the park to ourselves for a few moments.

Baby Sadie {Atlanta Maternity Photographer}

It is always a nice change of pace doing maternity shots.  The Clients actually will stay still and I can pose them.  Such a different change of pace …and I don’t have to sing which is probably best for everyone.  We had a fabulous time walking around the park talking about babies.  And I can’t wait to meet little Sadie when she gets here.  Enjoy!

The “W” Family {Atlanta Family Photographer}

I was so excited to find out that we attend the same Church.  Our Church is huge so it doesn’t have that cozy feeling all the time and it always brings a smile when you find out your both part of the same big, wonderful Church family.  We had a lot of fun running around the park being silly at our session.  I love when parents just let the kids be kids as you get the best shots that way.  And I’m excited about all the great sibling shots we have …especially since I’ve been trying to get a sibling shot of my boys together all day.  Not working so well. Enjoy your sneak!

Shelly

I try not to get too personal on my blog.  Not really sure why.  But there is something I want to share with you tonight, and if you feel it in your heart, for you to help too.

Yesterday the world lost a beautiful light.  Shelly, wife to Tom and mother to 8-month old Ella, passed away from complications with Crohn’s Disease.  She was part of an online Mom’s group I belong to.  She was able to leave the hospital for a few short days and take her daughter to the Pumkin Patch (seen in the picture which I totally hijacked from her blog).  What a gift.  But it is so heartbreaking to think of her daughter growing up without her Mom.  A Mom who loved her so.

We are collecting money for the family to help in any way they need it.  You can donate here if you desire.

Please keep Shelly’s family in your thoughts and prayers.  And hug your loved ones.  Be thankful for them this holiday season and beyond.

Dorothy {Atlanta, Children Photographer}

I can’t believe how big Dorothy is now since the first time I met her at 3-months.  It has been so much fun watching her grow from a baby into a sweet little girl.  We usually shoot at her house, but this time we went on an adventure to an Atlanta park.  Sitting on pine cones, finding sticks, trying to eat bark …we had an adventure and got some really adorable pictures along the way.

I’m so glad that orange is the “it” color this year.  I love it!  I had three sessions in a row that dressed their children in orange.  Now if I could just get Clemson to change their color away from orange it would officially be my favorite color.  I love sibling shots when they want to be together.  Big sister could not get enough of her little sis …lots of hugs and kisses.  Just like my boys!  Hope you enjoy your sneak!
