The blog has been gathering dust the last few weeks. I have several sneaks to post that I only posted a picture on Facebook (see, you should like me). The Summer has begun and my boys, 2 and 5, are out of school which means my schedule is lighter so I can spend quality time with them. I figure I only have a few more years of both of them chasing me around wanting to spend time with me before I’m chasing them around asking for them to spend time with me.
So this past week we took a family vacation to the beach. We’ve been going to Rosemary Beach for years while living in Atlanta but since we have moved to South Carolina we are visiting local beaches. Oh how my boys love the beach. They swam, caught fish, collected piles and piles of shells and just loved being together. I desperately wanted to take sunrise shots on the beach but my little beach bums slept until 8 am each morning (why don’t they do that when they are at home?) so I settled for a quick evening walk on the beach for pictures. Beaches really do make the perfect setting for pictures. I could do this all summer long.
