The Summer is a fun time for me. Both personally as I have more family time with the kids and professionally because I take on less work (would also be a good time to mention I’m a little slower on returning emails). This allows me to flex my creative muscle and try out new things. Like shooting in 5 pm sun in the Summer. I would probably never do this with a Client because the light is hot. But for this session with my boys ….it works. I love the moodiness of the light. And if I waited until the beautiful 7 pm sun the boys would have been freezing and the rainbow in the pictures would have never happened. The shoot didn’t happen like I had in my mind, but I like the results even more. So worth the fire ant bite to my ankle. Hope you enjoy!
