Wow….last week was busy for the Bryson household. Ridge turned 4 on Saturday. We had a huge party for him at our house on Saturday and a school party plus Mother’s Day Tea on Friday, Mother’s Day on Sunday and since Thursday we’ve had up to 15 family members staying at our house. I’m exhausted but we had so much fun celebrating. So this will be a huge family share.
Ridge turned 4 on Saturday. He is obsessed with Star Wars right now so we had a Trooper from the 501st, who also does magic using the dark force, come to Ridge’s party. And I have to say, usually with parties it is Mom bringing the children. Almost all the Dads came to Ridge’s Star Wars party….it was awesome and Ridge had a blast. Rick, my husband, even made a homemade Death Star pinata (I think he may have cried a little when it broke).
And Mother’s Day was amazing. We have a family tradition of going up to Buford to fish on Mother’s Day. I like that we are all together, enjoying the outdoors away from computers, cell phones, TVs and other distractions. Just spending wonderful time with my boys. Rick took some pictures of me and the boys….can’t believe I’m actually in a picture. It is pretty rare around here. And Rick proves to be a great photographer. I’ll hire him out…cheap (kidding).
And Ridge caught his first fish. This is a big deal in a 4 year old boys life. He was excited and a little scared….but Colton had no fear and ran up to grab the fish. He’s a mess!
