Atlanta really has two seasons, Winter and Summer. We get about two weeks of Spring and Fall so I’m not sure if that actually counts as a season. But it is now officially Summer. I’ve seen lightening bugs the last three nights on my walks and at 7 am it is so hot you are sweating. I’m kinda scared for July and August. But we are enjoying sprinklers, watermelon, ice cream and all things that are good about Summer.
If you’ve known me personally or followed the blog for a while you know my youngest Colton has an eye condition called Nystagmus. It is a brain/eye disconnect that makes his eyes wiggle. At 6-months it was pretty bad and we were told how he would be legally blind, never drive, etc. Pretty heartbreaking for a Mom to hear about her little baby and his future. But at our last two check ups Colton has seriously beat all odds. His eyes are almost perfectly still now and there is a possibility he will see 20/20 or close to it. We won’t know for sure for a few years, but he is rockin’ this thing and at this pace will only continue on his path to perfect. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your thoughts and prayers.
